  1. Application vs. Desk Accessory
  2. The software comes as both an application and as a desk accessory.  The desk accessory handles most of the functions as that of the application except for importing, exporting and providing some of the convenient shortcuts.

  4. Since the desk accessory uses settings initiated by the application, the application MUST be used at least once BEFORE using the desk accessory.

  6. The first time the CoStar desk accessory is launched after installation, it will ask you to locate a Costar list.

  8. The application and the desk accessory cannot be used simultaneously since they will both use the same resources.
